School Sports Education Program

Across Europe, South America, and the United States, schools and grassroots organisations have proven that skateboarding can be far more than just a sport. By integrating the principles of skate culture — creativity, resilience, community, failure, and peer-led learning — into education frameworks, students develop stronger motivation, deeper engagement, and a greater capacity for growth both physically and emotionally.

United Skates brings this same transformative approach to Singapore schools through our Skateboard Coaching Program, officially endorsed under the Sports Education Programme (SEP), a joint initiative by Sport Singapore and the Ministry of Education.

Our structured coaching program is built around these powerful principles, going beyond tricks to focus on lifelong skills. Students learn coordination and movement, build confidence through personal expression, and develop resilience by taking safe risks in a supportive environment.

Sessions foster social awareness, teamwork, and peer encouragement while inspiring a progression mindset and goal-setting habits. We work closely with schools, community centres, and families to tailor each program to the needs of every learner, ensuring inclusivity and age-appropriate progression. All sessions are led by certified coaches who prioritise emotional and physical safety, creating a positive and empowering space for every child to thrive.
